Salmon Falls Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Bar Mills, Maine, just 20 minutes southwest of Portland off Route 202.
The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and opened for play in 1956.
Par for the course is 36. From the back tees the course plays to 2,883 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 2550 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 455yards. The shortest hole on the course is #6, a par-3 that plays to 165 yards from the back tees. The signature hole is #3, a 190-yard, par 3, which requires a shot over a pond to an elevated green.
This course runs along the beautiful Saco River. This fairly-wooded course has water hazards coming into play on a couple of holes. Most all the fairways are wide open, but there are out-of-bound stakes lining many of them. There are additional tees that can be used to play a double-loop eighteen hole round.
